Ranga Dandi

Rational Data Services was founded by Ranga Dandi, a senior data architect with more than twenty years spent designing and modernizing enterprise data platforms. He started the firm to pair the rigor of a large consultancy with the focus and accountability of working directly with the architect doing the work, with no bench and no overhead drag.

Before founding RDS, Ranga led data strategy, governance, and advanced-analytics engagements at IBM, KPMG, Guidehouse, and Lockheed Martin. His work spans some of the most demanding data environments in the country, including the IRS, the Federal Reserve, the CDC, the VA, and the IMF, where governance, security, and trust are non-negotiable.

Today he helps federal, financial, healthcare, and higher-education clients build governed data products and get their data ready for agentic AI on Databricks, Snowflake, and Trino. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and stays hands-on, leading every engagement personally.
